2.Image Reconstruction Sotware (IRS)

IRS is user friendly image reconstruction and post-processing software for Electrical Capacitance Volume Tomography (ECVT). The software is running on MATLAB version 6.0 or higher. Flexible options of using different image reconstruction algorithms are provided, including: linear back projection, iterative linear back projection, Thikonov regularization, and multi-criterion optimization. Post-processing software includes: various 3D permittivity graphical displays, various 2D image displays, 3D velocity mapping, 3D movie construction and display.  The software is compatible with Windows 98, 2000, XP OS. MATLAB software is not included in the software package.

Preprocessing window: showing reconstruction setting, reconstruction process in mini command window and display of reconstruction result. User freely sets up the reconstruction parameter and selects the algorithm.

3. Data Acquisition System

We manufacture DAS applicable for 8, 12, 16, 24 and 32 channels. The data acquisition system comprises of sensor circuits and data acquisition board that includes multiplexer, ADC converter, programmable gain amplifier and microcontroller, linked with PC using serial link.

The current data acquisition speed using 2MHz clock system is 100 volume images per second for 8 channels, 80 volume images per second for 12 channels, 60 volume images per second for 16 channels and 40 volume images per second for 24 channels.

 

 

4. Customized Sensor

A comprehensive analysis of sensitivity distribution leads to the development of a robust sensor design for specific geometry. The analysis includes checking for availability of dead zones and testing of image reconstruction performance.

 

 


5. 3D custom sensor designed and Electrical Field Computation Service

Sensitivity Map Generation : Sensitivity map (matrix) has a key role in the process of electrical tomography image reconstruction; thus the generation is pivotal  in the tomography system development.
